Effect of Cladding Current on Microstructure and Wear Resistance of High-Entropy Powder-Cored Wire Coating

This paper investigated the effect of tungsten arc melting current on microstructure and wear resistance coatings prepared from high-entropy powder-cored wire, FeCrMnCuNiSi1. A wire composition was drawn by wire-forming equipment, a FeCrMnCuNiSi1 alloy coating designed base material 40Cr fusion technique. The influence law mechanism were obtained through analyzing microstructure, physical phase, different currents. At 200A, exhibits fine equiaxed grains single BCC phase; highest average microhardness reach 790.36 HV 689.73 HV, respectively, whose is twice that material. rate 2245.86 ?m3/(N??m), which only 8% has excellent resistance. ordinary equipment cladding method performance low cost, can provide an essential basis for development, preparation, application coatings.
